About the Commissioners
(A) In November, 1974, and quadrennially thereafter, one county commissioner shall be elected to take office on the first day of January following.
(B) In November, 1972, and quadrennially thereafter, two commissioners shall be elected. The term of one of such commissioners shall commence on the second day of January next after his election, and the term of the other commissioner shall commence on the third day of January next after his election.
(C) Thereafter such officers shall hold office for the term of four years and until their successors are elected and qualified. (ORC 305.01)

David C. Ditzler

Education History
Dave is a lifelong resident of Mahoning County and Austintown, and a 1976 Austintown Fitch Graduate. Dave received his Associate Degree in Applied Business from Youngstown State University in 1982, and his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Youngstown State University in 1984.
Career History
Dave was first elected Austintown Township Trustee in November 1993, and has subsequently been reelected in 1997, 2001, 2005, and 2009, serving the people of Austintown as their Trustee since January 1, 1994. He was recently inducted into The Austintown Growth Foundation Hall of Fame Class of 2004 for Community Service. He has been elected a Mahoning County Democratic Precinct Committee Person for Austintown since 1986, and served as The Mahoning County Democratic Party Chair from 1999 through 2001. He was elected a Delegate to the Democratic National Convention in 2000 for Al Gore, elected again as a Delegate to the 2004 Democratic National Convention for John Kerry, and again in 2008 for Hillary Clinton.
He has been a Steelworker his entire career, as a Member of USWA Local 1418 Youngstown Sheet and Tube / Jones and Laughlin Steel from 1977 to 1983. He was employed by Thomas Steel Strip Corporation from 1983 through 2005 as Sales Manager, then electing to accept the position of Global Manager of Sales for The American Nickeloid Corporation in 2006.
Family
Dave and his wife Jenny of 18 years reside at 6696 New Road in a home that the 2 built themselves, along with their 4-legged children, Midnight and Zoey. Jenny is a Founding Member of the Austintown Junior Women’s League and a Sales Manager for Macy’s Southern Park Mall for the past 30 years.

Carol Rimedio-Righetti

Born in Youngstown on January 14, 1952, Carolann Rimedio is the daughter of Dom, a meat cutter by trade, and Mary E. Rimedio, a dedicated homemaker. Her father served as Deputy Auditor for Mahoning County Auditor Stephen 'Bushel' Olenick. Raised on Pershing Street in the Brier Hill area of the city, Carol attended St. Ann's and, later, St. Anthony's School before graduating from Ursuline High School in 1970. She received her post-secondary education at Youngstown State University.
Carol began her career in public service in 1970 as an administrative assistant for the Mahoning County Planning Commission. In 1975 she served as an assistant clerk for the Mahoning County Board of Elections, retiring in 1999.
Continuing her career in community involvement, Carol joined the AmeriCorps VISTA (Volunteers in Service to America) program in 2001, coordinating all advertising and public relations activities for the Youngstown City Schools STARS Program. In an effort to build collaborative relationships across Mahoning County school systems, she continued her education for the Mahoning County Family and Children First Council.
On December 30, 2003, Carol was sworn in as the City of Youngstown's 4th Ward Councilperson, one of three women elected to council that year. She served a second term in that position and also served as the chairperson for the Finance Committee. Other posts include chairperson for both the Public Utilities and Legislative Committees and vice-chairperson for the Education Committee.
Carol's commitment to the Youngstown community and Mahoning County is evident by her involvement in many organizations. As a lifelong member of St. Anthony's Parish in Brier Hill where she is the past president of the Altar and Rosary Society, Carol is active in all West Side Coalitions and Block Watches. A staunch Democrat, she is a member of the Democrat Canfield Ladies Club, JFK Democratic Women's Club and the Federated Women's Club of Ohio. Additionally, she has served on the executive board of the Mahoning County Democratic Party and is past-president of the Mahoning County Young Democrats.
Her passion for the community is evident by her participation in numerous civic organizations including the Youngstown Italian Fest Committee, the Brier Hill Scholarship Dinner Committee, the Youngstown Symphony Society and the Friends of Fellows Riverside Gardens.
Carol Rimedio-Righetti's desire to serve the people remains strong. She is confident that this community can fulfill its potential of providing a high quality of life for all residents. She believes that the government has the power to create the opportunities that will bring that potential to fruition. That is why, today, she is a full-time, hands-on Mahoning County Commissioner.
Carol currently resides in Youngstown, OH and is married to Frank J. Righetti, Sr.

Served as 'Regional Director' for the 17th Congressional District Office, I was in charge of three counties (Mahoning, Columbiana, and Trumbull) whereby I worked directly with most Local Officials and every major constituency group in our valley.
I have had the privilege of working in Washington, D.C. as the Congressional Liaison for 8 years on various projects for the 17th Congressional District.
Various hobbies include; professional guitar player, and collector of Historic Gibson Custom Shop guitars, playing in various bands, family time, and occasional trips to Italy, and Atlantic City.
